Recognising achievement, celebrating success and encouraging growth!
Now in its 7th year, the Kirklees Top 100 is an annual event which celebrates the success, innovation and resilience of businesses across the Kirklees region.
A partnership between The University of Huddersfield, Kirklees Council and 3M Buckley Innovation Centre – this initiative is designed to celebrate achievement, encourage growth, collaboration and strengthen the local economy.
It was a pleasure to be invited, for the first time, to host the unveiling of the 2026/27 Top 100 list – aptly staged at Huddersfield Town Football Club‘s Accu Stadium (itself receiving substantial investment and undergoing significant development as it evolves into a 365 day a year hosting venue). Representatives from a diverse range of business backgrounds attended. Wool dyers to biomechanics. Leading financial institutions to legal and haulage firms.
This was not only recognition for the success of business in the area but also an acknowledgement of the hard work, endeavour and enterprise in what is widely accepted to be a testing national economic climate to currently operate in.
Congratulations to all those companies and businesses who featured in the Top 100 list – with a special mention for Fintel, who retained their spot at number 1 for the 2nd year running.
