A few hours in the company of one of the leading businessmen in West Yorkshire was invaluable for those who attended the November gathering of the Bradford City Business Club at Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford.
John Tordoff, Executive Chairman of JCT600 Ltd shared experience and lessons learned from a family business that has grown into a nationally recognised brand over the course of 7 decades in the automotive industry. I discussed with him the ever changing retail landscape, how an organisation adapts to meet new challenges – fresh competition. We talked about the pandemic and the challenges that posed to business. His response and values which helped JCT600 Ltd emerge on the other side and how he’s positioning the company for the challenges which lie ahead.
We took questions from members on the floor – all of which John Tordoff answered in a full and considered manner – and we finished with this piece of advice, “Be true to yourself”
