Former World Heavyweight boxing champion, Frank Bruno discussed his career in front of a live audience at the latest Bradford City Business Club event.
From growing up as a child, to how he fell in love with boxing. The highs and lows of a career which saw him headline, alongside Mike Tyson in Las Vegas to achieving his dream of being crowned the Heavyweight Champion of the World at a sold out Wembley Stadium. He also shared his experiences after boxing – how he’s dealt with mental health issues and the Frank Bruno Foundation he’s established to help people who find themselves experiencing similar difficulties.
It was a fascination conversation which had those in attendance, hanging on his every word. Afterwards, Frank Bruno chatted to the Business Club members, posed for photos and signed autographs. He also donated a number of signed boxing gloves, which were auctioned off with the proceeds going towards Bradford City’s community projects.
